Peterborough Celebrates

The city of Peterborough is set to be a hive of activity this year as the city celebrates the Cathedral’s 900th birthday and showcases what it has to offer.
The ‘Peterborough Celebrates’ campaign is running throughout 2018 across the city and includes a wide variety of exciting activities. The aim of the project is to highlight the great things happening in our city including regeneration, our wonderful Cathedral, the warm and friendly community and the facilities our city provides.
The campaign offers something for everyone with a mix of free and ticketed events, including everything from physical challenges to cultural appreciation. Activities include an abseil down Peterborough Cathedral in May, a gathering of 900 fairies to raise money for Anna’s Hope in June and a festival at Ferry Meadows in July.
With so much to see and do, there is plenty to get involved in. To find out more about the celebrations please visit:
